The box was a little crushed, but the brush did not suffer and was in perfect condition and there was no unpleasant smell. It is a short brush but nice in the hand. It is very densely packed with bristles and very soft, there are no loose or out of place bristles either. I bought the brush to apply mineral powder foundation using the wet method or to use as a chubby blender for concealer and I think it will do both jobs pretty well. I'm very pleased, it feels like a very good quality high end brush for a fraction of the price.
