The Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) has released its World Award winners for 2025, and Atomos Shinobi GO has been awarded the prestigious “Best Portable Video Monitor” award.
The TIPA citation describes the new camera monitor as:
“…a slim, lightweight, high brightness, 5-inch 1500nit HDR monitor that’s perfect for content creators and photographers. Portable and lightweight, weighing just 210 grams, Shinobi GO is powered by Sony NP-F batteries, AC with the Atomos battery eliminator, or USB-C PD with a USB charging dock or a USB power bank. The device supports 4K HDMI input and offers advanced monitoring tools, including focus peaking, false color, and waveform indicators.”
Shinobi GO was released in March 2025 and is the latest addition to the Atomos monitor range, adding to the popular Shinobi II and Shinobi 7 monitors, and the monitor-recorders Ninja 5-inch range, Shogun 7-inch range, and 19-inch Sumo 19SE.
TIPA has been announcing award winners since 1991 is widely regarded as a leading authority in the video and photography industry.
